What is a Sidekick?

A Sidekick is derived from the itsmygifts.com, where each letter in itsmygifts stands for a word—Important Treasures and Special Memories You Give Important Friends, Tribemates, and Sidekicks. A dictionary definition of sidekick is ‘a close companion’.

What is the Sidekick Program?

The itsmygifts.com Sidekick Program is an affiliate program. If you don't know what that means, essentially you are kind of like an itsmygifts.com salesperson. You tell your friends, coworkers, family, and anyone else who's interested about the products we offer, give them a special web address to go to, and make money on every sale when the customers buy using your special link.

For example, suppose you create a Sidekick account named DataWolf. Your Sidekick link that you would put on your site would be something like http://itsmygifts.com/shop/default.aspx?affillink=dataw999. If a customer clicks on this link on your site, they're redirected to our site, which looks exactly the same except the ?affillink=dataw999 follows them on every page. If they purchase anything, you get a commission.

What do I need to become a Sidekick?

You must a web page, you must have an email address, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old, and you must agree to the Sidekick Agreement. We also need your mailing address so we can send you your commission checks. You also need to create a separate Sidekick account that you can log into on our site.

What's this about a commission?

Refer to the latest copy of Sidekick agreement for the current commission rates. The commission period runs from the first day of the month to the last day of the month. In the first week or two of every month, we'll run a Sidekick Commissions Report for the previous month and cut checks to all the Sidekicks who earned a commission in that month.

For example, the January commission period runs from January 1 to January 31. In the first two weeks of February, we run the Sidekick Commission Report for the start date of January 1 and the end date of January 31.

Can I view the Sidekick Commission Reports?

Yes, but only for your Sidekick account. You can view the commission reports any time you want by logging into your Sidekick account and entering the start date and end date you want to view.

How do I sign up?

Just click the Continue button below. You'll be taken to the Sidekick Agreement page, where you must click the I Agree button to accept the agreement. Then you'll be taken to the New Sidekick screen, where you'll enter all your information. Click Continue and you'll be an itsmygifts.com Sidekick!
